There’s a new bun in town. Or at least there is in the land of the King.
Burger King is trying out a new ‘everything’ bun on three of their existing sandwiches. The seasoned brioche bun is going to be tested on the Whopper, the BK Royal Crispy Chicken sandwich and for breakfast fanatics, the Everything Breakfast Sandwich.
The test of the Everything Menu will be introduced in the following markets – Huntsville, Alabama, and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
From there, word is that if these markets hold up – the country can expect these tasty looking toppers (and bottoms) to be making their way into Burger King’s on the reg.
“Everything bagel seasoning has been popping up everywhere,” Burger King wrote in its email. “And now it’s coming to Burger King as part of a product innovation market test: taking classic menu items to the next level by adding an Everything seasoned bun.“
The test buns are sporting poppy seeds, sesame seeds, and its own seasoning.
In an email obtained by foxbusiness.com – Burger King says, ”This year, BK has been doing several market tests to bring flavor and product innovation to some of its most beloved menu items.”
One look at the promotional photo of the Everything Menu tells you that if you’re not in one of the aforementioned test markets, you better be making haste and flocking there.
