He doesn’t just think that he’s going to drop the LB’s – he also believes that his cardiovascular health will improve.
Maginnis, who is from Nashville, TN – is chronicling his weight loss on TikTok @bigmaccoaching where he will be posting videos to mark his progress.
Surprisingly, his first video posted 11 days after starting his McDonald’s only diet…shows that he already went from 238 to 225 pounds for a 13 pound deficit.
Maginnis was interviewed on Tucker Carlson discussing his diet strategy citing that it will work because he will be “cutting each meal in half. ”
He explains that he used the same tactic when he was a boxer in high-school to meet the weight requirements…
“You have to cut to make weight, so cutting the calories, cutting the food in half. If I cut them in half and I seek the heat before I eat, meaning I wait until that heat in your stomach that says you’re hungry.”
So each McDonald’s meal will be split in half and the remainder reserved for his next meal.
“As far as, ‘Is it going to kill me?’ I did the blood work at the beginning. We’ll do bloodwork throughout. My belief is that it’s going to absolutely improve the bloodwork throughout the whole process.“
It should be interesting to follow Kevin along on his ‘out there’ weight loss journey.
The documentary Super Size Me found the opposite of what McGannis is so far experiencing. The filmmaker Morgan Spurlock put on weight and found his health suffer from his documented ‘only McDonald’s’ diet.
That most likely had to do with the filmmaker eating McDonald’s with a reckless abandon though.
