There’s a rumor swirling around that the beloved Potato Cakes might be making a comeback to menus across the United States.
An Arby’s sign has been spotted saying: Potato Cakes Are Back 7/1/24.
They’ve also been confirmed in Kentucky at this time.
While Arby’s officially discontinued the Potato Cakes in 2021, their absence has been deeply mourned by many. The crispy, golden discs were a perfect complement to Arby’s savory roast beef sandwiches.
Arby’s Canada recently brought back the Potato Cakes for a limited time this past Fall. This move sparked speculation that a similar return could be in the works for the US.
While there’s no official confirmation from Arby’s itself, social media whispers and regional managers hints suggest a possible nationwide summer 2024 return. Arby’s has even added fuel to the fire with a playful statement: “Although our Potato Cakes have been discontinued (for now), who’s to say they’re gone forever?”
