The union of Kellogg’s and Cinnabon formed a matrimony that produced cereal excellence but when the Cinnabon cereal was discontinued over four years ago, fans were not happy.

Now everyone can rejoice because it is here once again and back by popular demand.

Cinnabon made the announcement through a tweet that said: “Guess. Who’s. Back”…along with a picture of the long-awaited revival of the Cinnabon cereal with a revamped box.

Cinnabon partnered with Kellogg’s around 2010 to release the “crunchy cinnamon cereal” and during it’s run until 2018, the cereal had acquired a dedicated fan-base that became crushed once it was discontinued.

The blowback that Kellogg’s received was nuclear with petition’s, discussions, letters – all demanding that they bring the cereal back.

First came out in 2010

Sadie Garcia, Director of Brand Marketing at Kellogg All Family Cereal, said, “Kellogg’s Cinnabon Bakery Inspired Cereal has an incredibly devoted fanbase, and it was our number one requested cereal the year it was discontinued.”

Twitter was ecstatic by the good news and the replies were coming in, lighting up in all cap’s…

“You KNOW THIS IS WHAT I WANTED. HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TWEETED YOU THIS.”

THE RETURN WE NEEDED.”

“For years, Cinnabon and Kellogg’s fans alike have been asking for us to collaborate again and bring back one of their favorite cereals. Now the wait is finally over, and fans can once again enjoy the delicious taste of Cinnabon in cereal form.”

Tasting Table says that the cereal will be available at Sam’s Club in October and then in December at other retailers across the country.

There’s no mention of specifically which “other” retailers will have the cereal but it better be in stores wide and far so as not to tease an already fragile audience awaiting the Cinnabon cereal’s return.
