An amazing sight was on display at Dunkin Donut’s where a customer waiting in the drive-thru caught a raccoon on video being served a donut.
Perhaps, this may be one of the cutest acts ever to be witnessed by man. So cute, it’s surprising it didn’t cause a tear in the fabric of reality.
The furry customer can be seen making his way to the drive-thru directly in front of the car that’s also approaching, and from where the video’s being filmed.
Buitengebieden posted the video to Twitter where the comments stacked up over the human/animal interaction.
Upon seeing what was transpiring, Buitengebieden exclaimed “What is he doing” (referencing the raccoon who had just emerged from the weeds)?
The raccoon seemed unsure as the car was slowly pulling up but not enough to abandon his mission for a Dunkin fix. In fact, it seemed as if he was all too aware of drive-thru protocol.
As the customers watched from their car delighted by the turn of events, one of the spectators spotted an employee appear at the window with a donut in her hand.
The furry patron then stood at the window, and peered in, waiting for his prize.
The raccoon gingerly took the donut from the employee and ran off into the weeds.
The comments were a mixed bag of acknowledging the overload of cute, and alarm over feeding the wildlife.
The animals may be evolving with the times because, in recent news, a pair of horses stopped at a Taco Bell late at night after escaping their stables. Who could blame them for taking advantage of convenience just like their human counterparts?
