Actor, Hugh Jackman visited a Waffle House in the UK to dine out, and enjoy…a cheat meal. He shared his excursion on Twitter where fans, and followers proceeded to question his odd choice of topping.
His Twitter post featured a selfie, pictures of the Waffle House menu, and his feast of two unconventional savory waffles.
HIs cheat meal? A Bolognese waffle, followed with a Banoffee waffle, the first consisting of mushrooms, and ground beef. Instead of the traditional syrup, butter, whipped cream, or jelly accoutrements, Jackman got down with an entirely different kind of taste.
His post had a picture attached that showed his cheat meal, and he followed it up by saying:
“Nooo! I did not share. And I’m not sorry. #wafflehousenorwich,”
Some of the comments read:
The waffles with the banana I can understand, I don’t know what that is on the other waffle, I don’t want that, lol. Keep it!
I’m not sure about the mushrooms, and is that marinara??? I am however ALL IN on the bananas and toffee sauce…. Damn son…..

The staff of the Waffle House could not be more ecstatic with the celebrity appearance, no doubt appreciating the free publicity, and even thanked him for stopping by on their FB page:
“Huge thank you to thehughjackman for being such a legend… posing for a photo and mentioning us on his social media pages.”
If you’re confused by the bougie-looking Waffle House menu, don’t be. This is not the Waffle House of the US, famed for it’s late night brawls, and drunken encounters. This is an entirely different beast – hence, the saucy, beefy toppings splayed out all over those waffles. Definitely not the Waffle House that Trump stopped at earlier this month for a round of food, and meet-and-greets.
Mushrooms, and beef on waffles? Guess that’s how a Wolverine rolls.
