The fast food restaurant, Raising Cane’s and rapper Post Malone are continuing their partnership, and collaborating on merchandise to promote the opening of Post’s own designed Raising Cane’s location in Midvale, Utah.
Malone designed four different limited edition 32 oz. cups in limited quantities, modeled after his own tattoos, and other key moments from live performances. The collectible cups will be released one at a time with the first becoming available for a period of two weeks each.
Customers will also have a chance to win exclusive merch, trips, concert tickets, and other prizes by scanning the QR code on the bottom of each cup.
Todd Graves said: “Following the excitement of the Restaurant opening and incredible demand for the cups, we wanted to continue that same momentum and Post-inspired energy by making these cups available to every Caniac and Post Malone fan in America.”
Starting June 21st to August 2nd, you can get the Post-designed cup when you “Post Up” on a combo meal for an additional $1.39.
“Collaborating with Todd and being part of the Raising Cane’s brand with our collab restaurant and signature cups has been a fun experience,” said Post Malone. “I can’t wait for fans across the country to ‘Post Up’ their combos, see these cups in person, and build out their signature Posty cup collection.”
Malone’s collaboration with the franchise is upping the ante on celebrity/fast food relationships. KF also announced their own partnership with football legend, Deion Sanders last week while Snoop Dogg and Jack In the Box did the same. Celebrities have long been securing deals with chains over the years, but the practice is only becoming a more common occurrence.
