Legendary rapper, and actor LL Cool J just signed onto a project that has spreading cookies at the forefront of it’s mission.
The shop, LL signed with is called, Cookie Plug, and it sells cookies so big they resemble mini-cakes. These substantial cookies are described on Cookie Plug’s site as, Fat, Thicc, and Bomb Af. If you look at the pictures of these behemoth’s…you’ll know why.
“When I first met Kevin and LL to share some cookies, their faces lit up when they bit into them,” Cookie Plug CEO Chris Wyland said in the release. “I knew right away that they were the perfect team to help scale the Cookie Plug brand. Cookie Plug is a celebration of hip hop, graffiti, and street art. I can’t think of having a better fit than partnering with a true legend in LL COOL J.”
The deal involves franchisee, Kevin Davis who’s responsible for opening almost 200 fast food restaurants like Papa Johns, Popeye’s, and Subway. With the team signed on, they’re looking to expand into multiple areas including; New Jersey, Texas, Los Angeles, and Orlando.
Cookie Plug came onto the scene in 2019 as an establishment that sells cookies inspired by, and to celebrate the culture of; hip-hop, rap, and graffiti.
It went from one location to 25 inside of just 3 years, and with LL Cool J on board as an ambassador of their cookies – has plans to be the be-all end-all of the cookie game.
There are 295 locations in the process of development with 50 more slated to open during 2023 alone.
