A team-up between Tesla, and McDonald’s is culminating in the “Cyber Spoon”, a CyberTruck-inspired utensil to be sold at the burger chain in it’s China-based locations. The only problem is that it seems Elon Musk was the last to know about it.

When news of the collaboration was shared on X (Twitter), Elon Musk responded to the news by saying:

“Fake news afaik.”

Musk was set straight on the matter by superfan of Tesla, Sawyer Merritt who explained to Musk how the Cyber Spoon was being promoted on official social media channels.

Once Musk was able to confirm the validity of the Cyber Spoon, he turned his ship around and was all for the idea:

“In that case I will definitely have some.”

The spoon is modeled after Tesla’s Cybertruck and will have just 50,000 spoons made for purchase in China’s McDonald locations.

From the pictures, it looks like a metal version of the McFlurry spoon, a modern twist on an old classic.

The Cybertruck is Tesla’s anticipated new pickup truck model, which has already spawned other products like a cat scratch pad, and beer.
