Customers at a Dairy Queen in Westmoreland County, Pa – got way more than they bargained for when they stopped for a cold treat.
Instead of scoops and sprinkles, the spectacle they were served named, Jan Stawovy…wore a rainbow wig, a bright vest and had a gun.
Stawovy, graced his presence at the Dairy Queen – twice in one day.
At his first visit, he put $120 on the counter. A sizable tip for “non-democrats”, he said.
According to court documents, Jan was working to “restore Trump to President of the United States.”
Police were first called when witnesses reported a jeep driving erratically, then informed that the driver had stopped and was going into the Dairy Queen.
On his second rendezvous with Dairy Queen, 61-year-old Jan had run amuck – cursing and yelling his way throughout the soft serve establishment.
There was talk of being a “prophet” and “killing all the democrats for Trump” and that he was “talking to God”…The usual social niceties and casual banter one would expect when going out for an afternoon treat.
When approached by police officers, he confided that he was “working undercover with state police on a drug sting” and that the Dairy Queen employees would “vouch” for him.
They gave him up immediately telling officers that they didn’t know him.
Stawovy was determined to be suffering from an apparent “mental health crisis” and taken to a hospital.
According to thehill.com – when officers searched his jeep, they found two additional loaded handguns and 62 rounds of ammunition.
He faces multiple felony charges for the incident. And has to answer for tens of ruined ice cream cones.
