It happened at a Dairy Queen located in Newnan, GA. A woman burst into the soft-serve ice cream establishment after being served at the drive-thru. By the end of the ensuing altercation, the cops would be called for a ‘robbery’ and she would be arrested for terroristic threats and assault.
The woman named, Lanta Adkins, had apparently stormed in unhappy after getting her order and proceeded to demand a refund over an unknown issue.
The manager told police that the woman was immediately, ‘irate’.
When the manager obliged to give her the requested refund, she became increasingly angered and threw a liquid at her.
The situation escalated when Lanta began to push things off the counter, yelling all the while.
She threatened to “fill the place up with bullet holes” while assaulting the inside of the Dairy Queen in the process.
She eventually left the fast food restaurant and went outside to her Dodge Charger where she proceeded to retrieve a ‘pink pistol’.
When she tried to re-enter the establishment with weapon in tow, she was barred from entry as the Manager had locked the door and called the police. Lanta ended up fleeing the scene.
The police were able to locate Lanta nearby at an apartment complex via the description of her car. After arresting her, they found the pink pistol she had threatened to use on the Dairy Queen.
Investigators have no answers as to why she went off the deep end and assaulted the Dairy Queen on such short notice.
