Taco Bell has had a good thing going with their iconic hot sauce packets, and their accompanying quotes. Now their adding new “quotes” into the mix, and they want your help on picking the winners.
According to a statement released by Taco Bell CMO, Taylor Montgomery, a redesign is scheduled to go live in 2024.
From now until July 23rd, rewards members will be able to vote via poll for their favorite sayings with three options on the table for each hot sauce variety.
The sauce quotes have long been fan favorites, even starting with fans back in 1994 when the franchise held a contest for customers to submit humorous sayings for consideration to be printed onto their packets. There were 12 winners selected, with the prize being…free Taco Bell for one year.
“We recognize the role that these hot sauce packets have played in people’s lives. There’s no better way to foster brand love than by giving our biggest fans a unique opportunity to leave their own mark on and be a part of Taco Bell history“, said the CMO in a press release.

The humorous sayings and phrases have caught on as a distinctive trait of Taco Bell, and conversation starters for many a burrito-eater over the years. And Taco Bell is keeping the tradition of involving consumers in the process, alive, with the new redesign.
