A fan favorite from the past is bouncing back in time for March Madness. Pizza Hut will be dipping into the well of Pizza Hut’s past promotions and offering the nostalgic toy basketballs once again, just in time for the anticipated 2023 NCAA playoffs, which starts March 16th (Courtesy of: KTLA.com).
Starting March 14, the limited edition mini basketballs will be available for purchase at the price of $7 each.
The basketballs are two-toned, and dressed up in Pizza Hut’s red and black motif. An updated look different from the ones sold in the 90’s. The phrase, “No One Out Pizza’s The Pizza Hut” is emblazoned on the outside of the ball.
“We’re bringing back a fan-favorite item, our Mini Basketballs, to pair perfectly with pizza orders during the tournament and unveiling interactive hoop pizza box packaging for customers to get into the basketball action at home“, said Lindsay Morgan, Chief Marketing Officer
The pizza boxes used during March Madness will double as a mini basketball hoop to pair with the mini basketballs so you can play along from home
“We’re back again for the seventh year as the official pizza of March Madness, and we wanted to do something special for pizza loving basketball fans,” Lindsay said.
The basketballs will be available to purchase through the app or Pizza Hut’s website for a limited time only.
