Raising Caine’s and Post Malone celebrated the opening of Malone’s second personally-designed location, but this time in Dallas.
The grand opening was attended by thousands including a surprise appearance by Malone, and the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders.
Malone’s first Raising Caine’s location opened this past April in Utah, and was decorated to the hilt in pink, and his custom tattoo creations. The collaboration also spilled over into making limited-edition collectors cups designed by…you guessed it, Malone himself.
After the success of the first “Malone” restaurant…he had a conversation with Caines founder, Todd Graves about designing more of them.
Graves said:
“He’s like man can we do one more?”
“‘Yeah. Where do you want to do it? He goes, ‘Dallas, of course. First place I had Cane’s, where I grew up, my hometown team. Can we do something with the Cowboys?’ I said sure, let me call the Cowboys. We’ve been a sponsor with them for years. They said, ‘Sure, let’s do it and blow it up.’”
The latest Malone location is modeled in every way after the Dallas Cowboys with their signature colors on the exterior, and a 32-foot-tall star matching the team’s logo which towers above the drive-thru. The inside has Post Malone memorabilia lining the walls, a cacophony of outfits, and instruments.
Graves wanted to bring Malone’s vision to life saying, “No idea is too crazy. We’ll get it done. Whatever he wanted to do, we just said ‘let’s have fun with it’. It’s literally all his creation., all of what he wanted to do, and how he wanted to display the restaurant.”
It was a four-week remodeling process that culminated in festivities, the grand opening ceremony where Malone surprised attendees by appearing, outfitted in a Dallas Cowboys jersey, and sampling the menu offerings of his Raising Caine’s location.
Raising Canes is set to open approximately fifty more locations by the end of the year… two recently opened in Manhattan, one being thousands of feet worth of real estate in Times Square. The chain plans to open more locations, to the tune of 100 stores domestically in 2024. And that’s not even speaking of their international plans.
