Fans of Subway will have the opportunity to eat 1,000 feet in the air on a Subway-themed Blimp that will take flight to promote their new restaurant experience, “Subway in the Sky”.

Passengers will each get a lunchbox with four samples of Subway’s new “Deli Hero” subs to snack on during the airships float in the atmosphere.

The 180-foot airship will transform into a restaurant in the sky with a max capacity for 7 guests at a time on-board.

For each flight, thirty minutes will be allotted to enjoy the excursion, and the best part is that tickets to get on the blimp will be completely free.

Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis, and are limited, so if you’re interested – register now to secure a spot.

A press release from Subway said, “Here’s your chance to experience the heights Subway has reached since beginning our transformation journey in 2021”.

Subway In The Sky Details

  • Kansas City, Missouri – September 5-7
  • Orlando, Florida – September 19-20
  • Miami-area, Florida – September 24 & 26th

Another recent promotion by Subway involved offering up a contest for customers to change their name legally to, Subway, for a chance to win free subs for life.

Over 10,000 entrants submitted their information within 96 hours of the contest going live and a winner will be chosen this month.

Subway also made major news when they just announced the sale of the chain for $9.6 billion to investor, Roark Capital, a company that specializes in fast food chains, and franchised businesses.

A reboot of the chain is most likely in store with a new owner behind the reins.
