The rumors are swirling, and now they’ve been confirmed: Chick-fil-A does indeed have a banana pudding dessert offering, but with a twist.
For a limited time, you can get your hands on this sweet treat at select locations in Georgia, the home state of Chick-fil-A founder Truett Cathy. Here’s the scoop:
- Where to Find It: The banana pudding is currently only available at select Dwarf House restaurants, Truett’s Grills, and Truett’s Chick-fil-A locations, all within Georgia.
- Limited Engagement: This is a temporary menu item, so if you’re in Georgia and have a hankering for banana pudding, don’t wait too long to try it.
- A Taste of Tradition: Early reports describe the pudding as reminiscent of a classic homemade recipe, featuring vanilla wafers, fresh bananas, and creamy pudding – a perfect way to end your Chick-fil-A meal.
The rumor that a Banana Pudding dessert was in the works started on TikTok where users were sharing videos of the dessert in question but no one could pinpoint if it was a testing item, an item on the menu or really, what the heck was going on.
With it’s availability only being in Georgia right now, it’s likely that the dessert is in some form of a testing stage to gauge interest. According to Chick-Fil-A’s website Banana Pudding “treats” were also being tested in SC.
This past January the chain brought the Banana Pudding Milkshake back to the menu after a period of a thirteen year absence. So maybe this is a sign of things to come?
While this isn’t a nationwide rollout just yet, it’s exciting news for Chick-fil-A fans and dessert lovers. The limited-time offering in Georgia could definitely be a test run for a broader release in the future. Here’s hoping those delicious banana pudding dreams become a reality!
