Arby’s is raising the stakes in the burger wars with a new offer: 50% off their burgers. This promotion is a clear shot across the bow at industry leaders McDonald’s and Burger King, aiming to steal a slice of the lucrative burger market.
For a limited time, Arby’s has brought back two burgers and customers can indulge starting May 28th at participating locations. They are the Big Cheesy Bacon Burger and the Deluxe Burger. And the Deluxe Burger which is no slouch, it features a thick and juicy burger topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and a special burger sauce on a toasted brioche bun – can also be ordered as part of the new “Shake Up Your Burger Meal.” This deal features the classic Deluxe Burger, a side of curly fries, and a chocolate shake. Paired with their signature curly fries and a refreshing chocolate shake, it really. Arby’s has the deal priced at $10.69 but it may vary from location to location.
50% Burgers Promo
Speaking of satisfying meals, today, May 28th, just happens to be National Hamburger Day. This annual celebration honors the iconic American food – the hamburger. It’s the perfect day to indulge in your favorite burger creation, whether it’s a classic cheeseburger, a veggie burger piled high with toppings, or something more adventurous. Arby’s is celebrating by offering a 50% Burger deal which customers can use to get each burger half-priced through the app. The deal will be live until June 2nd.
This promotion comes out as increased competition in the fast food industry is heating up. Of course, McDonald’s and Burger King have been battling it out for decades, constantly innovating their menus and offering deals to attract customers. But last week, McDonald’s announced they would be launching a $5 Value Meal Deal and shortly thereafter, Burger King stole its thunder with a $5 Meal Deal of their own. Except Burger King’s will be available sooner and longer.
Now it’s Arby’s turn to throw their hat into the deal ring. And that 50% off burger deal could shake things up and win over new fans. The only problem is that it will be the shortest active deal of them all, only lasting for the next five days.

While short, the promotion is a chance for them to showcase their burger offerings and potentially convert some McDonald’s and Burger King loyalists. And the two returning burgers will be available longer than the deal, so there’s that.
With more burger options and deals to choose from right now, we can’t help but feel the competition is only starting to really take off. If you head to Arby’s, just be sure you have the rewards app installed so you can use it to get the half-priced burger!
