McDonald’s is stirring up excitement among fans with its latest test run. The fast-food giant is currently experimenting with McCrispy Chicken Tenders at select locations in North Carolina. While the crispy, flavorful strips are a tempting treat in their own right, it’s the potential implications for the menu that have fans buzzing.
Many loyal customers fondly remember the Snack Wrap, a beloved menu item that was discontinued abruptly in 2016. The tortilla-wrapped delight, often filled with chicken, cheese, and various sauces, quickly gained a dedicated following but it’s absence has left a noticeable void on the McDonald’s menu.
With the introduction of McCrispy Tenders, fans are starting to believe that the return of the Snack Wrap might not be such a far-fetched dream. The crispy chicken strips seem like the perfect filling for the iconic wrap, and many are speculating that this test run could be a precursor to a larger menu overhaul.
It’s not entirely crazy is it? If McDonald’s has everything on hand, it would be a logical conclusion especially since the CEO said this in February: “We see the potential to add another point of chicken share by 2026, in part through an expansion of our McCrispy platform into wraps and tenders.”
Notice the mention of wraps? We’ve kept this info on hand since the moment it was uttered.
While McDonald’s hasn’t officially confirmed any plans to bring back the Snack Wrap, the excitement surrounding the McCrispy Tenders seems to be gaining steam. Even Social media is ablaze with speculation since the announcement of the testing McCrispy Tenders.
So, what do you thimk? Will McDonald’s heed the calls of its customers?
