Arby’s has announced that it will be keeping its popular burger offering as a permanent fixture on the menu. This decision comes after the successful limited-time introduction of burgers to the chain’s traditionally roast beef-focused lineup.

Arby’s, known for its slogan “We Have the Meats,” is living up to that promise by cementing burgers as a mainstay on their menu. The company’s initial foray into the burger market in 2022 was met with enthusiasm from customers, and sold out in two weeks.

Since the tentative addition of burgers, they have brought the burgers back back for a limited-time only in again in 2022, and two more times in 2023.

According to Arby’s website, the burgers are “here to stay.”

Introducing the BBQ Bacon Burger

But Arby’s isn’t stopping there. In addition to keeping burgers on the menu, the fast-food chain is introducing a new flavor sensation: the BBQ Bacon Burger. This latest creation combines the savory taste of bacon with the sweet and tangy notes of barbecue sauce, all atop a juicy beef patty.

The BBQ Bacon Burger features:

  • A 100% beef patty
  • Crispy bacon strips
  • Smoky Q sauce
  • Pickles
  • American Cheese
  • A toasted brioche bun

What This Means for Arby’s

This menu expansion represents a shift for Arby’s, which has traditionally been known for its roast beef sandwiches by permanently adding burgers and introducing new variations, Arby’s is positioning itself to compete more directly with other fast-food giants in the highly competitive burger market.

Arby’s also launched a meal deal called the Arby’s Tailgate Meal. It features a Deluxe Burger, large curly or crinkle fries, a large fountain drink, and a cherry turnover. The meal is priced at an average of $13.79 which steers it clear of being a value offering.

Industry analysts suggest that this move could help Arby’s attract a wider customer base and increase its market share in the fast-food sector. It also demonstrates the company’s willingness to adapt to changing consumer preferences and expand beyond its core offerings.

As Arby’s continues to evolve its menu, customers can look forward to enjoying both classic favorites and exciting new options. The permanent addition of burgers and the introduction of the BBQ Bacon Burger mark a new chapter for the brand.
