A study conducted by investment bank Piper Sandler found the #1 restaurant as preferred by teenagers in 2023.
The semi-annual Taking Stock With Teens report surveyed where teenagers are spending their money, and came to several conclusions.
16% of teens ranked Chick-fil-A is King or as their favorite fast food chain which isn’t too surprising considering Chick-fil-A has been found to be top dog by multiple studies and reports done over the past few years within varying age groups.
Chick-Fil-A was followed by Starbucks at 12% and Chipotle at 7%.

What is interesting is that a larger percentage of upper class teenagers chose Chick-fil-A as their favorite than the middle class teens who also did but at a lower percentage.
1 in 5 chose the Chick-Fil-A across the board as their favorite.
Another finding is that teens are spending more money on food than ever before, with the average teen spending $63 per week on food and beverages. Chick-fil-A was the most popular restaurant chain among teenagers, with the majority of their food spending going to the chain.
Chick-Fil-A was recently determined to be one of the favorite fast food chains as polled respondents. The research company Market Force surveyed 4,000 North Americans, and found Chick-Fil-A and In-N’-Out to be at the top (out of a total of 86 brands) for brand loyalty and customer satisfaction
