Del Taco is spicing things up with the launch of their new Del’s Real Deal menu. This revamped value offering features 15 items all priced at $2 or less, making it an affordable option for a quick bite or a full meal. The Del′s Real Deal menu isn’t just about cheap eats, it boasts a variety of familiar favorites alongside a new addition.
Now the chain is adding to it’s existing $2 menu, calling it the Real Deal Menu. It features: nachos, burritos, quesadillas, tacos, chips and even fresh made guacamole.
Sheena Dougher, head of marketing at Del Taco, said in the press release:
“Real food made with real ingredients at a real deal is a nearly impossible combination to find in today’s food landscape. But at Del Taco, we’ve always believed in providing quality food at accessible prices. We believe that the Del’s Real Deal$ Menu offers an unbeatable blend of quality, variety and affordability with 15 items all $2 and under. Plus, with the new addition of chips & house-made guacamole, our value menu is now even better as it highlights our commitment to our Del Taco Better Mex brand promise.”
Here’s a taste of what you can expect:
- Classic Del Taco: Del Taco fans will be happy to find staples like the Bean & Cheese Burrito (available with red or green sauce) and the CrunchTada Tostada on the menu.
- Crispy Chicken Cravings: Crispy Chicken Tacos come in three flavor options: ranch, habanero, or chipotle, all featuring a crispy chicken strip nestled in a warm flour tortilla.
- Snack Time: Perfect for a small appetite or a side dish, the Del’s Real Deal$ menu includes Snack Tacos (available in crunchy or soft shells), Snack Queso Quesadillas, and the exciting new addition – Snack-sized Chips & Fresh House-made Guac.
- Chicken Cheddar Rollers (Original, Ranch, or Chipotle): Made with freshly grilled, marinated chicken, fresh house-grated cheddar cheese, with choice of tangy green sauce, creamy ranch sauce, or chipotle sauce, rolled in a warm flour tortilla.
- Chicken Taco Del Carbon: Made with freshly grilled, marinated chicken, topped with diced onions, chopped cilantro, and tangy green sauce, wrapped in a warm corn tortilla.
This value menu refresh comes at a time when many fast-food chains are raising prices while also launching value meals to entice customers to come back on board. Last week, McDonald’s saw their highest traffic day in 2024 after the launch of the $5 Value Meal Deal with visits to the chain jumping by 8%.
Del Taco is taking notice of the success other chains are having with affordable options, and turning it up a few notches. The Real Deal Menu won’t be a limited-time offering, in fact, it will be live for the foreseeable future
