What’s better than a loaded nacho dish? Loaded Tater Tots. Domino’s is trying something new with this potato-based finger food, garnishing them for a more substantial appetizer type dish. They’re rolling these little buggers onto their menu in three different varieties. (Courtesy: PRNewswire)
The Loaded Tots are something Domino’s has never tried before, they’re reminiscent of their “Specialty Chicken” bites, loaded with their own toppings, except without meat.
Potato lover’s will drool over these dressed up tater’s.
“We’re excited to bring potatoes to Domino’s national menu for the first time, just in time for the biggest football game of the year,” said Kate Trumbull, Domino’s senior vice president of brand and product innovation.
You can get one loaded up with Philly Cheesesteak toppings which consists of a slather of a layer of alfredo sauce, slices of steak, onions, green peppers, and a mix of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
Then there’s a Cheddar and Bacon choice, which has a base layer of cheddar and parmesan sauce drizzled over a cacophony of onions, green pepper and cheddar cheese.
The last version is a 3-Cheese Loaded Tot. Provolone and creamy alfredo sauce makes a bed containing mozzarella, cheddar, and provolone cheeses.
The Loaded Tots can be had in the Mix & Match deal for $6.99 each or bought as a standalone for the same price.
When Domino’s tweeted about their the new dish, it got the people’s attention receiving almost 3,000 comments, and 3,000 likes.
The Loaded Tater Tots may be a hit even before hitting the ovens.
