Burger King Thailand has been ramping it up in recent times trying their hand at one odd concoction after another. There was The Real Cheeseburger, a burger consisting of only cheese, at twenty cloying slices on a bun.
And last week, they announced a burger called the Real Meat Burger comprised of many layers of meat, or as many as a customer would want in order to have it their way.
Now, the chain has come up with a different concept A burger packed with as many pickle as possible AKA The Real Pickle Burger.
The @Snackolator reported in a post on Instagram about BK Thailand’s newest “innovation”, The Real Pickle Burger:
“Burger King is taking ‘Have It Your Way’ to a different universe in Thailand, with the Real Pickle Burger joining the ‘Real Cheese Burger’ we posted recently.”
The Real Pickle Burger has so far been receiving mixed responses but a bit more positive fanfare than it’s cheesy counterpart. Some are more willing to try this burger with an obscene amount of pickles over the mountain of meat or cheese versions.
Some comments on the new pickle-laden burger were:
“They can’t be serious first 20 slices of f**king cheese and now this”
“I don’t know what my country’s Burger King is doing anymore 😔
“I’d eat it”
“This is childish * slides money on the counter *”
Pizza Hut made a similar move a few month ago with Pickle Pizza. The pizza was little more than a publicity stunt however, and was only available at one location in NYC.
