McDonald’s is set to introduce a new value platform, McValue, in January 2025, aimed at attracting more customers.

This move comes as the fast-food giant seeks to counter rising food costs and customers fear over returning and possibly getting sick post E.Coli outbreak.

Starting January 7th, the chain will implement the McValue “platform.” It’s essentially more ways to save and more value options.

Joe Erlinger, President of McDonald’s USA said in a statement:

When it comes to value, we know there’s no one-size-fits-all. We’ve worked closely with our franchisees to create a new platform that will let our customers define value on their own terms. From deals on their personal go-to order to universal favorites like the $5 Meal Deal, we’re excited to give fans more ways to save every time they visit one of our restaurants.”

The McValue platform will feature a variety of deals, including:

  • $5 Meal Deal continuation: This popular offering, which includes a choice of a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, four-piece Chicken McNuggets, small fries, and a small drink, will continue to be available.
  • Buy One, Add One for $1: This new deal will allow customers to add a second item to their order for just $1, such as a Sausage McMuffin, 6-piece Chicken McNuggets, or a Double Cheeseburger.
  • Breakfast Buy One Get One: Sausage McMuffin®
  • Sausage Biscuit
  • Sausage Burrito
  • Hash Browns
  • McValue Lunch/Dinner Buy One:
  • 6-pc. Chicken McNuggets®
  • Double Cheeseburger
  • McChicken®
  • Small Fries
  • Local and Digital Offers: McDonald’s will also offer a range of local and digital deals, providing flexibility and customization for customers.

By introducing the McValue platform, McDonald’s aims to strengthen its position in the value segment and attract more customers, especially those who are increasingly price-sensitive.
