Wrestler turned actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson showed up at an In-N-Out Burger recently, and posted about his experience, acting like he’d never visited a fast food chain before in his life.
The antics confused his followers who started to pick apart his visit, and intentions.
While he claims to have never been to In-N-Out before, more disturbing is the fact that his post alludes to having no idea how a drive-thru or any fast food chain for that matter…works.
Is Johnson a fast food Virginia? He posted this to Instagram along with a selfie at the window after visiting the chain:
“first ever @innout burger experience.”
“Rolled up in my pick up and tried to be cool af with my order. But I didn’t know the lingo, didn’t know who to pay, where to pay, didn’t know s*** But I’m a quick study. Loved everyone’s positive vibes and their ‘holy s*** it’s the rock’ energy. LOVED the grub. And love how everyone in the drive-thru looked at me like I have three heads when I give them a tip.”
Now, it gets even stranger as the comments roll in accusing Johnson of…lying. One such person said:
“What a strange lie to tell. Especially when his previous visit to In-N-Out was immortalized on social media. Like what was his goal here?”
And indeed, a little investigating turns up another post by Johnson in 2022 calling an earlier visit his “first visit” as well. Or in his own words, “I’ve never been to IN-N-OUT before…” He even thanked them for free ketchup. And there’s an even earlier visit by Johnson to the chain in 2017
After being called out on the discrepancy, he ended up editing his most recent “first visit” to In-N-Out, saying:
“My first ever @innout burger experience — AGAIN (thanks to the fans who reminded me that I went to In and Out years ago and totally forgot about it).”
So what exactly is going on…is anyone’s guess. Did Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson honestly forget that he had indeed been to In-N-Out Burger before, or was he, lying – looking for some “wacky” content for his followers to fawn over? This might be one of the greatest mysteries posed to mankind…one without a verifiable answer.
The plot with Johnson calls up a similar incident involving none other than the Kardashians this past summer. The clan also visited In-N-Out Burger but they went inside, cameras in tow…fresh off of a private jet after Kim’s birthday plans got canceled due to inclement weather.
Matriarch of the family, Kris Jenner would go on to show the world that she had not one iota of a clue about how much a fast food meal should cost. She offered up her daughters $300 for the groups order of burgers while Kourtney patronized her mom saying, “Mom, I don’t know how fucking you’ve never been to a fast food restaurant, but you don’t need hundreds of dollars.”
