A belligerent Popeye’s manager in Harrisburg, PA is under fire after a lawsuit was filed by Federal investigators over his aggressive antics and refusal to cooperate.

According to the suit, multiple fruitless visits were made over the course of a few months to the location, during which they were thwarted by the angry and belligerent manager.

The investigation had been part of ongoing efforts to inquire about the employment practices in play at the Popeye’s location and whether or not the franchise was in violation.

One visit ended before it even began when investigators were told the entire staff had gone home sick.

Another encounter, was met with significant hostility and backlash from the manager on deck immediately upon their arrival. He was screaming and cursing up a storm.

The highlights include:

What the **** are you doing here

you are not going to interview nobody, you can stay there all you want

you think since you have f******* badges you can just walk the f*** in here

The manager was also accused of slamming a door with such force that the building shook.

The lawsuit states that the investigators felt threatened, and they “feared for their physical well-being.”

After multiple attempts to interview employee’s about their working conditions, the investigators realized the manager had told staff not to cooperate.

The matter was escalated by the federal investigators who filed a complaint/lawsuit and the presiding US District judge, Christopher C. Conner, enforced a no retaliation order between the manager and staff.

All parties will appear before a judge on June 7th.
