Jack, the mascot of fast food chain Jack In The Box is appearing in PEOPLE’s famed Sexiest Man Alive issue as the “Sexiest Jack Alive”.
Jack was put forth by fans to be nominated for the distinction via a petition on Change.org. Thousands of people signed the petition which was started this past August.
The petition reads:
“If someone is going to break the mold of what society thinks is sexy, why not Jack? Let’s make Jack Box the official sexiest man alive!!! People magazine, listen up!!! We’re over the traditional bros in the pages of the magazine and we’re ~hungry for a new hottie!!“
The mascot famously has a big, bulbous clown head with an ice cream cone sitting atop like some sort of crazed hat, He wears a business suit as he IS the head of the fast food chain after all. He was notoriously fired by the Jack In The Box board of directors but came back for revenge in commercials where he plotted to blow up his detractors.
He’s in good company with the likes of actor Patrick Dempsey, known for his role playing a doctor on Grey’s Anayomy, and the official 2023 pick for Sexiest Man Alive.
Although Jack didn’t get the cover, he does have a calendar coming out where he wears many outfits and shows off throughout each month in the calendar. Guess you can say he’s full of himself. It will be available for purchase on shopjackinthebox.com.
