In a move that’s sure to make bacon lovers rejoice, Little Caesars is taking the concept of meat lovers’ pizza to a whole new level. The popular pizza chain has announced that it’s testing a bacon-wrapped crust pizza in select locations across Indianapolis, Indiana.
It looks to be a twist on Hawaiian Pizza, focusing on pineapple and ham, along with the bacon.
A Sizzling New Offering
Little Caesar’s has dappled with bacon crust pizza in the past with, “Bacon Wrapped Crust DEEP!DEEP! Dish Pizza.” It featured Little Caesars’ signature Detroit-style deep dish pizza with a crispy twist. The entire outer edge of the crust was wrapped in thick-cut bacon.
Little Caesars chose Indianapolis as its test market due to the city’s reputation for embracing innovative food concepts and its demographic diversity.
The new bacon crust pizza is currently available at select Little Caesars locations throughout Indianapolis. The test run is scheduled to test for an undisclosed amount of time, after which the company will evaluate customer feedback and sales data to decide on a potential nationwide rollout.

What’s In It?
The two options being tested are:
- Bacon Crust Pepperoni for $8.99
- Bacon Crust Pepperoni & Pineapple for $9.49
This move by Little Caesars is seen as a response to the ongoing innovation in the competitive pizza market. With chains like Domino’s and Pizza Hut constantly introducing new crust flavors and toppings, Little Caesars’ bacon crust could be a game-changer if it proves popular.
If the test in Indianapolis proves successful, Little Caesars plans to roll out the bacon crust pizza to other markets across the United States. The company is also considering variations on the concept, potentially including different cheeses or additional toppings to complement the bacon crust.
As the test continues, all eyes in the fast-food industry will be on Indianapolis, waiting to see if Little Caesars has found the next big thing in pizza innovation or if this bacon experiment will sizzle out.
