Estate Agent, Lewis Ilsley went off the rails in a Subway just one day after he was pardoned of time in prison (Courtesy of: Yahoo News).
The 44 year-old-man had been in court the previous day on charges of burglary and theft and was given a probationary period of 15 months in lieu of prison time.
The court gave the stipulation that if Lewis committed another crime within those15 months, he would be jailed immediately.
It seems Lewis was either not paying attention, didn’t care or couldn’t help himself because he was back to his old ways in less than twenty four hours.
His instrument of choice was a trash bin and he quickly took to bashing it through the front door of the Subway located in Worcester in the UK.
He gave the Subway a good beating when he found the register empty and threw various equipment and sandwich fixing’s about the fast casual restaurant.

It didn’t stop there, Lewis was seen “crawling out of the Subway when the police arrived. When the police officer on the scene tried to apprehend him, they got into a tussle.
“Police took him to the floor restraining him. PC Victoria Burns felt a sharp pain and saw the defendant’s mouth on her left leg.”
When back in court for the new charges Chairman of the bench, Andrew Greenway gave Lewis 12 months in prison and said, “The reason is you committed the offences the day after being in court.”
His lawyer, Barry Newton stated that reason behind his newest charge was that he had “fallen back into drug use.” And further wanted to stress as a last ditch effort, that Lewis had a period of 12 years with a gap in his record of crime.
Lewis wasn’t crawling his way out of this time. With a checkered past and a list a mile long of theft and burglary – his time was due unfortunately.
