Popeyes is shaking things up again with the launch of their latest wing innovation: Honey Lemon Pepper. This flavor explosion promises to tantalize your taste buds with a sweet, tangy, and slightly spicy combination.
Starting today, March 19th, you can get a sneak peek at the Honey Lemon Pepper wings by ordering through the Popeyes app or website. But be warned, this is a limited-time offer (LTO) so don’t wait too long!
On April 1st, the wings will be gracing the menus of Popeyes restaurants nationwide (April Fool’s jokes aside).
Honey Lemon Pepper Wings
Here’s what you can expect: six juicy, marinated, and perfectly crispy chicken wings coated in a flavor bomb of zesty lemon, peppery heat from black pepper, and a touch of sweet honey.
Popeye’s added several new wing flavors to their menu permanently in November after offering 3 newbies for a limited time. With the addition of the Lemon Pepper flavor, customers will now have a total of 6 flavors to choose from:
- Sweet N’ Spicy
- Honey BBQ
- Roasted Garlic Parmesann
- Signature Hot
- Ghost Pepper
- Lemon Pepper
And for a playful twist, Popeyes is encouraging fans to ditch their boring old wing routine and embrace the Honey Lemon Pepper as their new flame. They went so far as to create a self-help pamphlet (available in early April) to ease the transition.
