If you’ve been keeping up with the McDonald’s, and Krispy Kreme team-up, then the news you’ve been waiting for has finally arrived! Krispy Kreme donuts are officially rolling onto Mickey D’s menu across the US by the end of 2026.

The fast-food giant and adored doughnut chain, Krispy Kreme have made the announcement to confirm their anticipated expansion.

This news follows a successful test run in late 2022 at 160 McDonald’s restaurants in Kentucky. The test, which saw Krispy Kreme doughnuts flying off the shelves, clearly demonstrated the high demand for this delicious duo.

Krispy Kreme CEO Josh Charlesworth said in the announcement: Significantly, by making Kreme Krispy accessible to fans nationwide through this partnership, we expect to more than double our points of access by the end of 2026. The partnership accelerates the development of our existing Delivered Fresh Daily channel, creating operating leverage through distribution density and production utilization.”

Some markets won’t have to wait until 2026 to experience the collision of the two brands in the drive-thru. The rollout is happening in stages, so one can expect to see Krispy Kreme donuts popping up at McDonald’s locations throughout this year.

In February, McDonald’s teased a nationwide roll-out and discussed adding more markets to gain feedback before pulling the trigger: “The expanded test will help us learn more about operational impact on a larger scale as well as explore customer demand.”
