What better way to celebrate the coming of spring than with a whole assortment of fruity flavored drinks? Chick-Fil-A thought so, as they just launched a new line of Cherry Berry seasonal beverages which hit nationwide starting April 8th.
Allison Duncan, director of menu and packaging at Chick-fil-A, said they’re a: “perfect accompaniment to our Chick-fil-A Strips and ideal for enjoying during a sunny Spring picnic or as a mid-afternoon carline snack!”
Cherry Berry Line-Up
This isn’t just a single drink, but a whole bonanza of new flavors, in fact, four iterations:
- Cherry Berry Sunjoy: A delightful mix of Chick-fil-A’s signature Sunjoy (lemonade and sweet tea) swirled with cherry, blueberry, and cranberry flavors.
- Cherry Berry Lemonade: Classic Chick-fil-A lemonade gets a springtime makeover with the addition of those same berry notes.
- Cherry Berry Iced Tea: Freshly brewed iced tea (available sweetened or unsweetened) is enhanced with the sweet and tart taste of cherries, blueberries, and cranberries.
- Cherry Berry Frosted Lemonade: This combines Chick-fil-A’s beloved Frosted Lemonade (iced lemonade blended with their Ice Dream dessert) with the Cherry Berry flavoring for a cool and creamy treat.
Chick-fil-A Chef Christy Cook said in a Chick-fil-A press release: “Our guests have always enjoyed both cherry and berry flavors, especially during the Spring season. We wanted to explore how to deliver that burst of fruit flavor they love, in a way that is unique to Chick-fil-A.”
And that’s not all, Chick-Fil-A is testing a brand-spankin’ new chicken sandwich at select locations in Raleigh, NC. The Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich rests its laurels on a bun new to Chick-Fil-A. The crosscut pretzel bun to be exact.
Some early critics are not impressed by a pretzel bun because of its hard texture. If they can work on the hostile texture of the bun, they may have something here. But we won’t know if this thing doesn’t go nationwide, which in all likelihood, it absolutely will.
With Chick-Fil-A making moves, adding new seasonal drinks to the menu while testing the new chicken sandwich, they’re poised for a busy summer season. The Cherry Berry beverages are a limited-time offering, available while supplies last. So, head to your nearest Chick-fil-A and sip on some spring with a taste of cherry berry!
