Taco Bell has collaborated with Truff, the hot sauce brand yet again in the return of the long-awaited second coming of the Nacho Fries.
After being tested in Newport Beach, California – Chew Boom reports that the Nacho fries are ready to be available all over the country starting October 13th.
This time there are two iterations to the Nacho Fry. There will be the original Nacho Fries being welcomed back in the same form as they were the last time they were on the menu.
Then, hitting on a spicy note…will be the Loaded Truff Nachos as the second version of Nacho Fries available. It will be the more ‘serious’ of the two fries in terms of flavor and serving size.
The collaboration with Truff sees the fries doused in a spicy sauce made up of red chili peppers and real black truffles. It would be layered further with all the typical nacho fixin’s: grilled steak, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, nacho cheese sauce, and sour cream.
The new sauce will be available as an add-on to any item on the menu for a $1 upcharge.

Liz Matthews, the global chief food innovation officer (quite the title, indeed) of Taco Bell said, “The Truff team is truly changing the sauce game and we’re thrilled to partner with them to bring our Nacho Fries to the next level in spice and innovation.”
The Loaded Truff Nachos will be available for only two weeks or as supplies last but the standard Nacho Fries are sticking around longer…so if you’re interested in what the truff the Truff sauce is all about, you might want to get on it.
