A Mississippi man named, Devane Mitchell, used his quick-thinking skills to come up with a savvy hiding location to place his illegal gun while in the middle of a traffic stop. He hid it inside of his Taco Bell quesadilla that was still inside the bag. Needless to say the situation was not compliant with the law’s idea of concealed carry.
Mitchell had been a passenger in a car driven by a woman named Olivia Neff, according to the report. The car had been stopped by an officer for failing to “regard a ‘traffic device.”
The jig was up from an early point as the officer reported that he observed Mitchell putting something inside of a Taco Bell bag before he approached the car.
In addition to the gun that officers promptly found, was a bevy of controlled substances including meth, liquid heroin and other paraphernalia.
Mitchell was subsequently arrested on several charges including, tampering with evidence, possession with intent to distribute while in possession of a fire-arm, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
It hasn’t been reported on what became of the Taco Bell quesadilla or if it was ‘confiscated’ as evidence.
