It happened at Wendy’s, and it happened over cheese…or a lack thereof. An altercation popped off after two people placed an order at the popular burger joint that ended in an attempted robbery, subsequent charges being filed, and a cheese-less Wendy’s Chicken Sandwich being thrown back into the Wendy’s restaurant.
Dominique Ezell and Jalinia Stuart are accused of assault, and trying to steal an employee’s phone after they stopped at Wendy’s to get food.
The trouble started after they received their order in the drive-thru, and had the shock of their lives. The chicken sandwiches that they anticipated to have cheese, were found to be hopelessly without.
So important was the cheese, that they would risk everything to show their displeasure by launching into a full-on assault.
Stuart entered the restaurant first, carrying a child of all things, and with dangerous intent. She immediately slipped into dissatisfied customer mode, turning it way up past eleven, blowing the volume button right off it’s perch.
The police report reads: “Without provocation she grabbed two Frosty’s from the counter and threw them at the employees and knocked/threw several items from the register area.”
Her partner, Ezell, entered the restaurant at some point, and assisted in the on-going destruction.
A pregnant employee took a blow from the cookie display that had been sent careening off the counter.
Before taking off, Stuart would pull an employee’s hair, taking her to the ground and her phone. Eventually the phone was wrested from her while other employee’s took pictures of the license plate on their vehicle.
The pair fled but not before lobbing the cheese-less chicken sandwich back into the restaurant.
Stuart and Ezell were located, arrested and now face robbery charges.
