Taco Bell is resurrecting a fan favorite which was first introduced during the early 2000’s. The Volcano menu, features a collection of “hot” items, most notably, the Volcano Taco. Taco Bell is also bringing back another icon from the Volcano Menu’s heyday…Paris Hilton will be along for the ride to promote the menu with her infamous catchphrase, “that’s hot”.
“Taco Bell’s Volcano Menu isn’t just iconic, it’s the epitome of hot,” said Hilton. “I am loving being a part of this Y2K revival with my very own Hot Line and hope fans will take my advice to sliv más.”
Taco Bell is always trying new and unusual campaigns, like their recent partnership with Pete Davidson this past Fall designed to generate more awareness of their breakfast menu.
The Hilton match-up goes back to the early and mid-2000’s to when she was constantly photographed with Taco Bell by paparazzi’s, on the regular.
A press release said on the new celebrity match-up “to bring the heat for this major campaign, we called on none other than Paris Hilton. Always in-the-know of what’s hot, Paris will help bring back these beloved items of the 2000s that never go out of style.”
When Will It Drop And Who Gets Early Access
It’s been ten years since the Volcano menu last enjoyed it’s spot in the limelight, and now on June 29th it will be rolling back onto menu’s with an early access date scheduled for June 27th. Anyone who is a Taco Bell Rewards member can order via app and enjoy the return of the spicy menu a few days before anyone else.
Taco Bell took to Twitter in March to tease the return of the Volcano Menu this summer, a move that fans of the ‘hot” menu have been waiting for since 2013.
The “Hot” Line: 1-844-THTS-HOT
Taco Bell secured Hilton to promote, and be the spokesperson for the Volcano Menu revival. A “hot line” has been established at: 1-844-THTS-HOT. Customers and fans can call the number to hear a set of six pre-recorded messages made by none other than Paris Hilton herself.
If you’re still confused about what the “hot line” is supposed to be used for….so are we. There are only so many ways one can clamor over the Volcano Menu while dropping hot and spicy references.
