Taco Bell took to Twitter to announce the impending return of a fiery hot favorite that fans have been clamoring for ever since being discontinued in 2013.
The tweet promised that the once beloved Volcano Tacos will be back sometime this June after a ten year absence from the Taco Bell menu.
The Volcano Taco features it’s signature red tortilla shell stuffed with beef, spicy nachos, lettuce and Lava sauce. A lesser known fact is that Lava sauce has been available in Kuwait since it’s discontinuation in the USA.
This would be yet another nostalgic marketing ploy made by the franchise. They have been taking it back to the 90s for months, along with almost every other fast food restaurant under the sun.
The Volcano Taco hit the scene in 1995 and enjoyed a solid nine year tenure. Ever since it’s disappearance, Taco Bell says it’s been once of the most requested items to return,
Taco Bell’s tweet delivered the news to hordes of excited fans, most of them replied that they have been waiting forever for the spicy Tacos to come back.
“WOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I’ve been waiting years for this! The Volcano menu was the best thing you’ve ever ever had! The double beef burrito, the tacos and the nachos! The volcano sauce is the absolute best!“
They fired off multiple tweets, mentioning that the promotion would be only for a limited time, and that “more details” would soon be following.
