Taco Bell is bringing back the fan favorite, Beefy Crunch Burrito from what seems like eons ago.
The franchise held an in-app vote during the spring-time where fans were able to decide between the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco or the Beefy Crunch Burrito.
The fans voted, and the Beefy Crunch Burrito won out with 59% of the vote.
The Beefy Crunch Burrito was first introduced to Taco Bell’s menu in 2010 but it only stuck around until 2011 when it was retired.
Fans if the Burrito were none too pleased with the decision, and have been calling for it’s return ever since with petitions and vocal pleas.
It has been back in very in limited markets for short periods of time.
Well, it will be back on menus nationwide, this August but only for a limited duration.
The Beefy Crunch Burrito consists of beef, rice, nacho cheese sauce, sour cream, and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.
“We knew the Beefy Crunch Movement, made up of more than 66,000 followers across various social media platforms was going to be tough to beat,” a Taco Bell spokesperson tells TODAY.com. “Day in and day out this community rallied and reminded its members to vote daily for the return of their most-cherished menu item.”
