The ubiquitous east coast convenience chain, Wawa is on track (if not already) to become one of the leading fast food chains around. And now a press release announced the convenience store’s next dip food-wise…into the pizza realm.
Convenience Unmatched
Wawa has been securing it’s position as the place to go for a quick bite, offering a smorgasbord of on-the-go, cheap eats. The chain has been getting ambitious with their menu with burgers, sandwiches, subs, quesadilla’s, and smoothies as some of their mainstays.
And now the chain is securing pizza as one of their latest menu offerings.
“We are absolutely thrilled to launch Wawa Pizza and give our customers another delicious dinner meal option to pair with our expansive selection of other fresh-to-order foods, snacks, drinks, and more,” said Mary-Rose Hannum, Vice President of Fresh Food & Beverages for Wawa.
The pizza will be available in 14 and 16-inch pies, and will be served from 4pm to 3am at over 900 Wawa locations.
“Pizza is one of the most beloved foods in America, so we couldn’t be more excited to make it a part of Wawa’s fast-casual-to-go offering and create a restaurant-like experience with our high-quality ingredients, great value, and the convenience we’re known for. It’s officially a pizza night at Wawa!”
The price starts at $12.99 for the smallest size, and goes up on the bigger pies.
The primarily east coast based chain is almost unmatched in it’s menu variety, and sheer convenience. Andthis pizza news, definitely kicks things up a few more notches for Wawa.
