Burger King is bringing back a familiar fried side dish…the ever-cheesy, fried Cheesy Tots.
Cheesy Tots are scheduled to launch on December 7th but some locations may see their return earlier. After a period of remaining off the menu, their return comes as a limited time only deal.
The finger food is a fried, roly poly hash brown-esque creation with a melted, cheesy center.
The cheesy side has been finding their way on and off the menu since 2009 when they were first introduced. They were discontinued, and then made a reappearance in 2016. In 2019, we saw the Cheesy Bacon Tots brought to the menu for the first time.
The last time we saw the standard Cheesy Tots was in 2021 when they were available in packs of 8 for $2. There is no reported price point yet on how much they will be this time around or how many will be available in a pack.

Burger King Canada has been experimenting with roasted garlic dishes, releasing two new creations last week. They just came out with a Roasted Garlic Chicken Wrap, and a Roasted Garlic Whopper. Both feature a garlic aioli sauce, and garlic chips for a double dose of garlic-y goodness. Unfortunately there’s no plans or chatter on a states side release at this time.
For now we get to experience the return of the Cheesy Tots…and that should suffice for now.
