The partnership that keeps on giving between Jack In The Box and Snoop Dogg (Calvin Broadus) have a new commercial airing right now to promote the Snoop Munchie Meal.
During the opening scene of the ad, Snoop is standing in front of a backdrop reminiscent of the setting used in Corona Beer commercials, specifically the one he was just recently in.
The mascot, Jack…of Jack In The Box enters the scene and says “Hey Snoop wrong commercial. Let’s go.” Then Snoop asks where they’re going and follows Jack off-screen.
The implication is that Snoop got his commercials mixed-up because he also starred in a commercial for Corona beer in March. He appeared alongside the likes of Eli Manning, and Andy Samberg.
Jack then takes him to an area to show off the new Munchie Meal.
The partnership between the fast food franchise and Snoop has manifested in the form of the Snoop Munchie Meal, a combo box stuffed with famous JITB offerings. It’s a little pricey at $14 but it’s like Snoop says, “I’ve been known to get the munchies from time to time.” And the need for food might out weigh the cost should you find yourself staring down a Snoop Munchie Meal…with the munchies.
Snoop is firing off multiple cylinders with many many partnerships on his plate at the moment. He even has a breakfast line with Master P that just recently launched called Snoop Cereal.
So it’s not surprising that Snoop can’t remember where he is or which brand he’s promoting at any given moment.
