Ahead of the June 2nd release of the animated movie Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse – Burger King will be decorating, and transforming participating locations nation-wide, in addition to releasing a limited time only Spider-Verse Whopper and Spider-Verse Sundae.
Limited-Time Spider-Verse Menu
Starting May 15th, there will be two Spidey-themed food additions coming to the menu.
First, the Spider-Verse Whopper which will feature a few key differences over BK’s standard Whopper. The new Whopper will have a red-colored bun with black sesame seeds, and instead of American cheese…swiss will be employed.
A Spiderman-themed dessert will also be making a debut. The Spider-Verse Sundae will consist of vanilla ice cream with red and black candy poppers.
Participating location will also be implementing Spider-Verse takeovers…transforming their dining rooms, and outside drive-thru areas to be rigged with interactive Spidey-themed decor, going all out for the occasion.
Spiderman images, and interactive designs will be set-up throughout participating Burger King’s that will give patrons an immersive experience into the Spiderman universe.

“Like the infinite number of universes that can be explored in the next installment of the award-winning Spider-Man franchise, Burger King fans can discover new and exciting ways to customize the ‘Spider-Verse’ menu items,” Pat O’Toole, CMO of Burger King North America.
The Spider-Verse Whopper and Sundae will be part of the Spider-Verse menu for a limited time. Perhaps more Spidey-themed items will be slinging their way into Burger King before the movie premieres.
