Taco Bell has been coming in clutch with multiple new menu items over the past month or so, and now the chain has two more items to add, a new breakfast taco and a new Grilled Cheese Burrito on board for October…according to a sneak peek from a food blogger.
A social media post by blogger Markie_ Devo shared the news, which claimed that both menu additions would be coming out on October 12th.
The unveiled items are the Toasted Breakfast Taco, and the Steak & Bacon Grilled Cheese Burrito.
Last year the Double Steak Grilled Cheese Burrito had fans all stitched up, and proved to be a popular favorite, so when it was taken off the menu, the disappointment was palpable.
A Redditor upon hearing the news that it was discontinued for the time being, “Damn. Best menu item imo I wish it was permanent.”
This marks the first time that Taco Bell has employed both Steak and Bacon inside of the Grilled Cheese Burrito together in a harmonious blend of meats. The Grilled Cheese Burrito was first introduced in 2020, and has made several appearances since for relatively short periods of time.
New Menu Items
- Toasted Breakast Taco: Comes in sausage, bacon, and potato. The combo comes with 2 sausage Toasted Breakfast Tacos, Cinnabon Delights, Hash Browns, and a Med drink or coffee.
- Steak & Bacon Grilled Cheese Burrito: The combo includes one Steak & Bacon Grilled Cheese Burrito, a Crunchy Taco, and a large drink.
Taco Bell just debuted a new vegan Nacho Cheese Sauce after a successful test market run. It’s debut aligns with the return of the Nacho Fries which are now available in a size Large.
The Cheesy Jalapeno Mexican Pizza, Chicken Enchilada Burrito, and Nacho Fries, along with three other items were announced earlier this month which brings the total new menu count to around nine new items.
