A customer in Ohio assaulted a worker at Chipotle with a Burrito Bowl and was given an unusual sentence…to work at a fast food establishment for two months, in a case of her own medicine.

In a case where the assaultant gets a taste of her own medicine stars, 39-year old Rosemary Hayne, the customer lost it on the Chipotle employee. The incident was captured by multiple people filming with their phones, and the footage went viral.

The judge presiding over the case, originally sentenced her to 6 months but had a better idea, giving her credit for serving a different kind of sentence. He gave Hayne a choice of either 90 day’s jail time or 30 days with 60 days working as a fast food worker, along with a $250 fine.

Judge Timothy Gilligan made some snappy comments thrown towards Hayne during the proceedings: “You didn’t get your burrito bowl the way you like it and this is how you respond. This is not ‘Real Housewives of Parma.’ This behavior is not acceptable.”

Hayne expressed remorse during an interview, saying:

“I’m truly sorry for what happened that day. “She also admitted to being a “service industry veteran”. “Those who know me realize that moment didn’t show my true character. I just want to move on. “

The 17-year old employee, Emily Russell got the brunt of the Burrito Bowl, and commented on the sentence saying: “She’s going to learn to work in fast food, and hopefully it will be good.”

Gilligan spoke more on the sentence, and incident:

“I don’t see her as any greater risk than anyone who walks in off the street,” he said, pondering whether her reputation would make it impossible to get a job at a restaurant. “I looked at it as someone who lost her cool. What else can I do rather than just have her sit in jail. “
