Jack in the Box is teaming up with another West Coast legend, Ice Cube to launch a new version of the Munchie Meal called the Ice Cube Munchie Meal. Starting June 3rd, this limited-time offering will be available nationwide.

Coincidentally, the rapper turned actor dropped a song called “Jack N The Box” in 2008 (completely unconnected to the fast food chain). It was written for a friend named Star who passed away in 2021 who used the term to describe people who got “big-headed”.

Fast forward sixteen years, Ice Cube has joined forces with Jack In The Box to create Ice Cube’s Munchie Meal to satisfy late-night cravings at a price-point of $12.

Here’s what you get:

  • The Chick N’ Tater Melt: This bad boy features a crispy fried chicken patty nestled between a buttery croissant, along with bacon, a double dose of cheese (shredded Cheddar and Swiss), creamy white cheese sauce, tangy ranch dressing, and the pièce de résistance – a hash brown patty.
  • Triple Threat of Sides: No munchie meal is complete without some tasty accompaniments. This meal comes with a crunchy seasoned curly fry, a warm and savory beef taco, and a serving of mini churros for that sweet tooth satisfaction.
  • Sip on This: Quench your thirst with a small fountain drink, with Sprite being the default option. But hey, you can probably sub it out for another soda if that’s more your style.

This collab could be a match in late-night heaven because Ice Cube, known for his iconic West Coast vibes, and relaxed energy perfectly fit with the late-night aesthetic.

Ice Cube told VIBE about the collaboration: “I eat Jack in the Box, so I like to do things that’s authentic, and so I felt that was perfect. They were down to collaborate and come up with something cool that fits both brands. They came to me for a reason. Jack in the Box is happy, and Ice Cube fans are happy, too — if you do something that the fans don’t connect with, you’re defeating your own purpose.”

This collaboration isn’t the first time Jack in the Box has joined forces with a hip-hop icon for a late-night feast. In 2023, they teamed up with Snoop Dogg to create the Snoop Dogg Munchie Meal. Packed with Snoop’s favorite flavors, the Dogg in Tha Box, featured a Spicy Sauced and Loaded Chicken Sandwich, curly fries, a taco, and a decadent brownie for a sweet ending. It was more expensive than Ice Cube’s, coming in at $14.

The Snoop Dogg Munchie Meal was a huge hit and the new celebrity partnership aims to re-capture that success.

If you’re an Ice Cube fan looking for a crave-worthy meal, head to your local Jack in the Box starting June 3rd through July 14th and give it a go. It could be a straight outta Compton-pleaser!
