A man named Rodney Rusco made a mess of things at Burger King when he launched into a drunken tirade scaring workers and customers alike. He ended up being tasered by officers, arrested and charged with civil rights violations, vandalism, resisting arrest and a drug charge.

When Rusco first arrived at the Burger King, he appeared calm for the short interim and asked for a cup of ice.

According to an employee and Kget.com, nothing was out of the ordinary at first glance. And Rusco seemed “chill” at first.

The scene quickly spiraled down the tubes when Rusco (unprompted) in quite the opposite stance of chill, started yelling obscenities and racial slurs such as “white power”.

His tirade was directed toward the Hispanic employees and came out of nowhere…quickly escalating into a bizarre and violent display.

He snapped to, jumping up and over Burger King’s counter, smashing anything in his way.

The Burger King employees meanwhile hid in an office and locked the door.

Rusco turned his attention to the door and tried to break-in but was unsuccessful in his attempts.

A call placed from the Burger King to 911 – reported that Rodney was waving a knife around and destroying property.

When officers arrived, Rodney was still trying to break into the office where the employees had barricaded themselves.

Shoot me then” Rusco yelled at officers when they confronted him with their guns drawn.

When Rusco refused to comply with officers, they tased him. Once he collapsed on the ground, he further refused to cooperate by not turning over to enable so they could handcuff him.

“Instead it appeared he was amused and perhaps even enjoyed the experience by the enthusiastic ‘wooo’ he uttered,” the officer wrote in his report.

Several bottles of alcohol were recovered from the table that Rodney Rusco had been sitting at – three bottles of Weed Cellars Chardonnay. One empty, one almost spent and the third full.

According to Burger King’s district manager, Rodney caused over $10,000 worth of damage to the restaurant.

He’s due in court on October 28th.
