A masked man entered a Jack in the Box located in Houston, TX – he over-explained that he was in the middle of his “first robbery” and asked for cash. The manager refused to cooperate giving the would-be robber no choice but to leave without so much as a chicken nugget for his trouble. .

In a new spin on old classic, an as yet unidentified individual visited the Jack in the Box after dinner rush.

The masked man approached the counter and asked the worker if he had change for $100. When the worker went to ask the manager if he could get the go-ahead on the transaction, he turned around to find the masked marauder had taken out a handgun.

The now gun-man then told the worker that it was “his first robbery” and demanded money from the register. Was he asking for leniency because of the fact that this was his first robbery? Or simply, offering up the information apologetically, in a twist that would discredit his own robbery attempt?

When his approach of using honesty didn’t work, and the manager refused to comply with the suspect’s demands – everything went out the window, with him resorting to negotiation tactics (or pleading?) to try and get the employee to give up the goods.

The masked suspect can be seen becoming frustrated in the security footage, eventually leaving the premises with with no pep in his step.

Houston police’s Robbery Division is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect, whom they described as a Hispanic male, 17 to 25 years old wearing a black shirt and armed with a handgun (foxnews.com
