McDonald’s has announced the return of their popular Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder with Cheese and its double-patty counterpart, the Double Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder with Cheese.
These crave-worthy burgers were a hit with customers when they first debuted two years ago, and their return promises to reignite taste buds nationwide on July 10th.
The Smoky BLT boasts a juicy, 100% fresh beef patty cooked to perfection. This delicious base is then layered with melty American cheese, thick-cut Applewood smoked bacon for a smoky kick, fresh Roma tomatoes for a touch of acidity, crisp shredded lettuce, and a smoky sauce that ties the whole flavor profile together.
All this goodness is sandwiched between a toasted sesame seed bun, creating a symphony of textures and tastes.
According to a McDonald’s press release: “Get ready to experience a sweet and tangy, savory and garlicy sauce that has a lingering smokiness.”
For those who crave an extra dose of meaty satisfaction, the Double Smoky BLT delivers. It features two quarter-pound beef patties, doubling the deliciousness of the original.
This return comes on the heels of the chains $5 Value Meal introduction which will be live for one month. The Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder will also be available for a limited time but they didn’t specify an end date.
