McDonald’s is bringing back the heat with Spicy Chicken McNuggets on the menu for a limited-time only.
The nuggets will return to McDonald’s in the UK but not every location will have them so it’s advised to check the menu at your preferred location before racing to beat the rush.
The Spicy McNuggets were a hit when they were first introduced, selling out in many locations during 2020 but the last time they made an appearance was this past April.
They’ve been on and off but only in select locations during which the chain released a statement:
“…now available as a regional menu item at approximately 6,900 participating locations throughout the U.S.”
The Snackolator, an Instagram account dedicated to giving new menu sneak peeks and rumors, revealed the news in a post not twenty four hours ago:
“Spicy McNuggets are BACK at McDonald’s for a limited time! These have been out a few times now, but they’re making another triumphant return which is great because they’re the GOAT of the McNugget kingdom! They have a nice level of spice that certainly isn’t going to burn your mouth, but is clearly superior to normal McNuggets”
“I missed them last time. SO HYPED.”
“I wish these were permanent.”
For fans of heat that don’t have Spicy McNuggets at your location, you may have access to a Hot & Spicy McChicken which is also available in select locations in the US: Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Texas, Alabama, and Florida.
KFC and Popeyes both debuted spicy Wings last week so it looks like tis’ the season for upping the heat ante in the fast food world.
