Taco Bell came out with a premium roast Cinnabon Delight coffee last spring. Now they’re kicking it up a few notches and adding three new premium roast iced coffees to the menu. But only select menus…for now.
Brand Eating reports that the new iced coffee flavorings will be tested in Fresno, Ca and Philadelphia, Pa in a trial before branching them out to other cities.
The fast food chain will be keeping the new coffee’s in line with Mexican-influenced flavors in the form of sweet creamers; Dulche De Leche, Mexican Chocolate Mocha, and Sweet Vanilla.
The price for a large cup of all three iced coffee’s will be $2.99.
As of now, the current line-up consists of only regular iced coffee and the Cinnabon Delights flavor so the addition of the three sounds like an intriguing new mix of flavors to try.
All three flavors will be brewed from the same Taco Bell premium roast coffee.
One person on Reddit has already seen them on the menu at Taco Bell so they must be moving forward on testing these three pretty quickly.
A common complaint on Taco Bell’s already existing iced coffee is that the ice comes melted and the temperature isn’t cold but lukewarm.
Perhaps Taco Bell will address this preparation issue when they test the new flavors.
The jury is out on whether these new flavors will knock our collective socks off…or make us want to put socks on. Which…in the case of iced coffee’s – making us want to put socks on would be the better forecast.
